Position Overview:
My client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Project Executive to lead and oversee the successful delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, provide strategic direction to project teams, and ensure that all projects are executed with excellence, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company, clients, architects, and other key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Develop and implement project strategies that align with the company’s goals and client expectations.
- Monitor project performance, including budgets, schedules, and quality, to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and other team members to foster professional growth and high performance.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all projects.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and community engagements to enhance relationships and build new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- At least 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss management.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
