Position Overview
We are experiencing a significant growth phase and are inviting an accomplished Project Executive (PX) to join our esteemed leadership team. In this role, you will be instrumental in steering project success from initiation through to completion, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with our values of safety, quality, and teamwork. Reporting directly to the President, this position offers the unique opportunity to influence our construction operations and contribute to shaping the future of the company. This role requires regular presence in either our Atlanta or Sarasota office, in addition to frequent travel across the Southeast to manage projects and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with company objectives.
- Formulate and execute strategies that enhance operational efficiency and profitability, while achieving superior project results.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers and other team members to promote professional development and skill enhancement.
- Manage all phases of project lifecycles, from planning and budgeting to resource allocation and project closeout.
- Address project risks proactively, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Establish and oversee project budgets, maintaining financial accountability and reporting.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders to drive project success and future collaboration.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and operational workflows.
- Proven capability in managing intricate construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, compliance, and quality control.
- Strong strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills, adept at managing multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and open dialogue.
- Proficient in construction management software tools, such as Procore and MS Project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
- 5-10 years of experience in construction project management or operations leadership, demonstrating a successful track record in project delivery.
- Familiarity with construction methods and project management software tools is essential.
- Ability to travel frequently within the Southeast for project oversight.
