Position Overview

As a Project Management Specialist, you will be a key contributor within a dynamic and collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of high-profile projects, meeting scope, schedule, and delivery requirements while leading diverse teams toward shared objectives. This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop your project management skills further while actively contributing to the success of mission-critical initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating across multiple teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and a collaborative mindset to deliver successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside within the Continental U.S.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, if required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing high-profile projects across diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with senior leadership and diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Government contracting experience is a plus.

General Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of all deliverables.
• Oversee the coordination of five or more diverse teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resources.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to track project progress and ensure milestones are met.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, and customers, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to minimize impact on timelines and objectives.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are efficiently utilized.
• Foster collaboration across teams to ensure a unified approach to solving challenges and achieving project goals.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members, promoting best practices in project management.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation as needed for internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information:

• Travel may be required for client meetings, site visits, or other project needs.
