Project Manager Application Development
The Department of SVC HS Information Technology is seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst. This position will serve as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, working primarily on the Application Development team to deliver projects in a timely manner. Suitable candidates must have:
• Proven experience in business process analysis and improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reviewing the data and collaboratively designing a solution with a team of developers
- Project management skills to plan and execute software initiatives to improve processes and lead teams on time and within scope while maintaining project budgets
- Methodical approach, with a firm understanding of Agile/Waterfall/other project management methodology principles
- Proficiency in process modeling and diagramming software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) as well as knowledge of Object Oriented Design using UML
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with a demonstrated ability to prepare and present detailed project reports, proposals, technical analysis, business analysis, user stories, recommendations, etc.
- Change management and training abilities to drive process adoption
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Understanding and experience within the System Development Lifecycle
- Willing and able to quickly adapt to competing demands or a change in assigned priorities and comfortable embracing and actively supporting change
- Must have strong motivating, negotiating and influencing skills to effectively resolve team conflict when it arises
The incumbent will participate in meetings and provide feedback during design and code reviews. Therefore, strong communication and critical thinking to build consensus and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders is required. Candidate must be highly motivated; customer focused and works well in a team environment.
Job Summary
Manages multiple large and more complex technical projects from idea through execution. Supervises all project parameters; documents user stories and functional requirements. Trains and assists lower-level project managers.

Physical Effort
Little physical effort is required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
