Job Summary
As the Project Manager for Commercial Sales, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and services. This position involves managing all aspects of service delivery and acting as the primary contact for customers from post-sale to installation. You will be accountable for the customer experience during the activation of their network services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the entire project lifecycle of sales orders, analyzing requirements across various technologies including Ethernet, SDWAN, SIP, and Managed Services.
Respond to work order requests from customers, sales teams, agents, and vendors, coordinating installation, moves, disconnections, or changes to products and services.
Manage installation schedules, negotiate due dates, validate provisioning completion, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Maintain risk assessments and manage impacts, escalating issues to the appropriate management levels as necessary to provide updates on progress.
Act as a liaison among multiple stakeholders (customers, vendors, carriers, sales teams, provisioning, billing, and customer care) to ensure smooth communication and project success.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis for orders at both the order and process levels.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, proactively addressing potential service delivery challenges.
Facilitate internal meetings with key service delivery stakeholders and conduct order overview meetings with executive leadership of major customers.
Create and present information requested by customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 4 years of customer support experience required.
At least 2 years of project coordination or management experience.
Project Management Certification and MEF Ethernet Certification preferred.
Experience In Telecommunications (ISP, MSO, Telcos) Is Required.
Familiarity with a CRM tool or experience with Salesforce is preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements
The physical demands for this role include the ability to bend, stoop, sit, walk, or stand for extended periods. Most time will be spent sitting with frequent opportunities to move around. Occasionally, you may need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
