About the role
A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as an Project Manager/ Environmental Consultant / Engineer / Scientist specialising in contaminated land, with this prominent national consulting firm.
  
As you would expect, weekly matters will span a mixture of office and field activities. Duties include:

• Conduct field investigation works including soil, groundwater, surface water, over-water sediment sampling in connection with site assessments.
• Investigate contaminated sites, groundwater, asbestos, site remediation, acid sulfate soils assessments and waste classification.
• Logging subsurface and contamination conditions in the field.
• Oversee contractors such as drilling rigs, excavators, service locators and traffic control crews to complete works on schedule.
• Apply relevant WA and Australian guidelines for contamination assessment and remediation.
• Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements.
• Writing reports and preparing proposals for site investigations and inspections.
• Management consideration for Senior candidates

About you
The client will ideally engage an Environmental Consultant / Engineer / Scientist with circa 5+ years contaminated land experience. 
  
The client will negotiate a salary package commensurate with capabilities and experience, circa $100,000 – $130,000+ + superannuation. 

Relevantly experienced Senior candidates above this bracket will be considered on a case by case basis.
