Position Overview
Calian Digital Health is focused on improving the lives of Canadians by underpinning the movement of health data through healthcare environments. Hospitals and health networks rely heavily on data to support all the work they do. Often this data is in silos and one system does not communicate with others. Our Corolar Suite of Products, combined interoperability solutions team changes all of this. We help ensure that the journey of the patient through the healthcare system is seamless, whilst enabling and enhancing the experience of the healthcare professional. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our ambitious and innovative health interoperability projects. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing our organization’s capabilities in delivering cutting-edge interoperability solutions within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Guide and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex health interoperability projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and client needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, development teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are accurately gathered, understood, and executed.
- Project Management: Provide input into RFP responses, support solution pricing, assign staff to projects, organize internal and external kick off meetings, client meetings, lead the project development plan. Monitor resource use versus plan and communicate on variation to the plans. Work with PM software to ensure project milestones and billing are accurate. Report on project progress as required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a fast-paced project management role, with management experience.
- Experience of working in a digital health environment or similar
- Excellent project management and organization.
- Outstanding communication with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical clients and staff.
- Proven Leadership and Management.
- Ability to manage project finances.
- Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability or a similar technology.
- A deep understanding of the healthcare delivery environment.
- A strong working knowledge of process improvement through lean and six sigma models.
- Thorough understanding of agile and demonstration of leading agile projects.
- CAPM PMP or similar preferred
- PMI-ACP or similar preferred
- Six Sigma preferred
- Bachelors degree or above preferred
