ePS is seeking a Project Manager for Professional Services, based in EMEA, to join our team in a remote role with occasional travel. We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in large-scale software implementations, strong project management skills, and the ability to organize and execute a project plan from discovery through to go-live. This is a leadership role, and while key responsibilities are outlined here, additional responsibilities may develop organically through mutual communication and collaboration.


Job Description
:

The Project Manager serves as the primary engagement leader within the Professional Services team, overseeing daily implementation activities, as well as managing communications and scheduling between customers and consultants. This role involves directly leading key engagements and maintaining daily interactions with customers. Additional service deliveries, such as customer training sessions, may also be requested. This is a billable position, requiring the candidate to meet individual billable hours targets. The Project Manager reports to the EMEA Professional Services Manager.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project Manager:

o Lead Sales-to-Services Transition: Take ownership of the transition process for newly sold deals by

reviewing customer expectations regarding timeline, scope, and budget.

o Develop Comprehensive Project Plans: Create project plans detailing resource estimations (skills, software, hardware, etc.), timelines, scheduling, budgeting, dependency identification, and change management strategies.

o Ensure Project Delivery Alignment: Oversee project delivery in line with approved plans, objectives, and budgets. Document progress consistently and maintain strong stakeholder influence through active involvement and regular communication.

o Conduct Periodic Health Checks: Perform regular 360-degree health assessments for all active engagements, report statuses and risks, and keep key engagement details updated in internal tools. Escalate risks to the appropriate organizational level if necessary.

o Manage Scope Changes and Expectations: Document and communicate any project scope changes

through formal change management processes, keeping stakeholder expectations aligned with delivery capabilities and priorities.

o Build Client Trust: Earn the confidence of client executives and team members through demonstrated expertise, high-quality delivery, and transparent insights.

o Expand Client Value: Identify and pursue opportunities to increase client value within current scope or through additional project proposals. Oversee the effective deployment and utilization of ePS resources.

o Ensure Alignment and Sign-Offs: Align deliverables with client business needs and requirements, ensuring customer awareness and agreement on scope and contract terms. Obtain client sign-off upon completion of deliverables.

o Manage Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process, proactively explaining invoiced charges to clients to ensure understanding and transparency.

o Follow Prescriptive Implementation Methodology: Adhere to ePS methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices to ensure successful customer engagements.

o Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with product management, development, and support to ensure client needs are met.

o Achieve Utilization Goals: Meet or exceed personal billable hours utilization targets.

o Mentor and Oversee Team Performance: Provide guidance and oversight to other Project Managers and Coordinators, supporting their performance and professional growth.


job Requirements

  • Proven Experience Leading Teams: Demonstrated success in leading teams through multi-month system

implementation and integration projects; experience with complex ERP projects is preferred.

  • ERP Project Expertise: 5 years of experience implementing ERP projects within Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Management of Process Consultants: 5 years managing teams of process consultants.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with manufacturers and consumer packaged goods companies is a plus.
  • Business Development Skills: Skilled in identifying new business opportunities and positioning service offerings to grow business within the existing customer base.
  • Adaptability and Change Management: Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage and drive change.
  • Customer Influence and Advisory: Skilled at demonstrating value in service offerings and establishing long-term, trusted advisor relationships with clients.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Process Development Experience: Experience in building and refining processes to support business growth s preferred.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with prospective or current clients.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and French is required; proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
