- Flexible salary package depending on candidate, anticipated bracket between $160,000 – $170,000+Super with Choice of car or car allowance included with the package. Laptop provided plus mobile phone or mobile phone allowance.

Our client is an established, National fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a specialism in delivering retail and fast food projects throughout Australia, seek an experienced project manager to join its team. Due to a buoyant workload with an impressive tender book, the outlook for this business is excellent. The majority of its work is with repeat business clients, large blue-chip retailers, fast food clients and supermarkets. Projects can be varied and challenging, frequently within the ‘live environment space’ and are priced between $500k – $5M.

In this position you will be reporting to the QLD Construction Manager and will likely manage 2 x smaller live environment projects or 1 x larger refurb / extension of a supermarket refurb. You will direct & supervise a wide cross section of subcontractors and be proficient programming and budgeting. You will have a sound contractual understanding and importantly you will be required to utilize your excellent communication & interpersonal skills to liase with clients and architects, whilst continually representing the company in a professional manner.
To be suitable for this position it is anticipated that you will possess the following;
- Ideally a degree in Construction Management or similar tertiary qualification.
- Trade background also welcomed.
- Will have worked in the construction industry for a minimum of 10 years, having progressed through to a Project management position.
- Will have had experience as a Contracts Administrator possessing strong contractual understanding
- As a Project Manager must have delivered fit-out and refurb projects to $5M in value
- Will have experience delivering projects in a ‘live, trading environment.
- Retail and supermarket project experience is viewed as highly desirable.
- Will have worked for established, systems driven contractors in the Australian construction fit-out market
- Will have worked with established costing and programming systems such as Procore, Jobpac, CHEOPS, MS Projects, Aconex etc
- Will be Brisbane based or relocating to the area
