In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in steering projects to success by managing all critical aspects, including scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risks, and communications. You will work closely with senior leadership and business unit heads to achieve impactful results, making this position ideal for those who excel in managing medium-to-large-scale projects and uphold best practices in project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed project charters and comprehensive plans.
- Monitor and manage budgets, estimates at completion (EAC), and progress tracking to ensure full transparency.
- Oversee essential project components such as scope, schedules, costs, quality, resources, risks, and procurement.
- Direct medium-to-large-scale projects, addressing interdependencies and ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Cultivate robust, collaborative relationships with leadership teams and business units.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, integrating their feedback and guaranteeing alignment.
- Apply project management methodologies and standards to ensure consistent project delivery.
- Proactively identify and manage risks and issues that could affect project success.
- Track and report on deliverables to confirm alignment with project objectives and anticipated benefits.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in project management, encompassing planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills for effective meeting and vendor management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in complex situations.
- Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with an emphasis on risk and change management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing enterprise-level software implementations and resource planning is a plus.
