What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide functional oversight for project execution, including estimating, procurement, and construction
• Lead teams through proposal and execution phases, ensuring clear communication and coordination
• Manage pre-construction activities and lead value engineering or constructability reviews
• Develop strategies to limit risk exposure and maximize profitability for projects
• Conduct technical reviews of vendor submittals for specification conformance

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-construction services, including design, estimating, and project management
• Previous substation and/or transmission line field or design experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in Primavera P6 and other project management tools preferred

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with project scheduling and estimating
• Knowledge of market conditions for competitive proposal development
• Familiarity with additional software such as Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Bid To Win
