Project Manager Public Cloud (Remote)

This remote role allows you to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from software engineers to senior executives, ensuring the effective execution of projects that meet both client and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of cloud projects within established timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Collaborate closely with clients to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
• Identify and manage technical and project-related risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular status meetings with clients and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Assist in contract negotiations and the development of project statements of work (SoW), as well as RFI/RFP responses.
• Manage the project delivery schedule for third-party vendors involved.
• Promote the adoption of appropriate technologies to fulfill client requirements.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Demonstrable experience in IT Cloud, project management, or software development, including agile methodologies and scrum management.
• Profound understanding of Linux, open-source technologies, and public cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Project management certification such as PMP or Scrum Master is preferred.
• Experience in full lifecycle project management and managing global projects remotely is advantageous.
