Project Manager Public Cloud Wfh (Remote)

We are in search of an enthusiastic and adept Public Cloud Project Manager to spearhead pivotal projects and foster robust client relationships within the public cloud domain. In this position, you will oversee multiple prestigious projects, collaborating with a diverse array of clients, from software engineers to senior executives. Your role will be crucial in defining project outcomes, managing timelines, and ensuring successful results for all stakeholders.

This role may require occasional international travel, contingent upon project demands and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.
• Identify technical and project-related risks, proactively implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction by engaging with all stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Assist senior management in contract negotiations and develop project documentation, including Statements of Work (SoWs).
• Facilitate regular progress meetings and business reviews, providing transparent updates and guidance.
• Supervise critical third-party deliverables essential to project success.
• Advocate for relevant technologies from our portfolio to clients.
• Handle cross-organizational engineering requests that fall outside existing business agreements.

Required Skills

• Demonstrable experience as a project manager in the IT or cloud sector (e.g., software development, IT program management, agile methodologies, or scrum master roles).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Linux, open-source software, and the public cloud landscape.
• Practical experience in software engineering.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• PMI certification or relevant equivalent (e.g., Scrum Master) preferred.
• Experience in managing full lifecycle global projects in a remote capacity is advantageous.
