Role Description
As the Project Manager at the Pleiades IoT Innovation Cluster in Athens, your role involves the technical management, coordination, participation, and engagement in research projects where Pleiades is either a participant or a leader, focusing on research activities, deliverables, and work package involvement.
You will also contribute to and/or coordinate the editing of research proposals, as well as engaging in the research or commercial exploitation of the outcomes from research projects.
Key Activities
- Identifying, analyzing, standardizing, and prioritizing requirements and use cases needed for project implementation, related to our scope of activities.
- Developing and defining concepts, models, and algorithms required for project implementation, in line with our operational focus.
- Designing architecture and specifying the technical aspects of utilities, modules, components, subsystems, systems, and platforms needed for project implementation, based on our operational requirements.
- Defining the scope, operation, and execution of pilot use cases and demonstrators relevant to our activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and organizing work packages, tasks, deliverables, and activities for which Pleiades is responsible.
- Editing, authoring, and delivering Pleiades’ specific deliverables (while seeking technical input from partners and the Pleiades implementation team when necessary).
- Contributing to and assisting in the preparation of deliverables led by other partners (gathering technical input from the Pleiades implementation team as needed).
- Reporting technically to task leaders, WP leaders, coordinators, and the European Commission, as dictated by the management structure of each project.
- Attending all relevant technical, plenary, and review meetings and workshops, representing the Pleiades team and preparing presentations in collaboration with the implementation team, if necessary.
- Representing and participating on behalf of Pleiades (as needed and based on availability) at events, conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.
