Role Description

As a result of winning several brand-new projects, we are currently seeking a Project Manager, with strong experience in Exploitation, Communication & Dissemination. The ideal candidate will have experience in Horizon Europe projects, experience managing projects and people, and with passion for the intersection between R&I and marketing.

As a Project Manager, you will become the main contact point of the organization in 3-4 projects, coordinating the human resources of the team to deliver our activities (other project managers, marketing team, designers, etc.), implement and execute the Exploitation activities of the project, while liaising with other well-known industry and academic partners across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement international projects under EU funding (Horizon Europe);
• Lead and manage work packages, tasks and deliverables around Dissemination, Communication & Exploitation;
• Manage internal and external project teams to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules;
• Participate in project meetings around Europe whenever necessary;
• Be responsible for Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation related activities;
• Business development for new Horizon Europe proposals;
• Create synergies and business opportunities with the European R&D ecosystem;

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of Experience with European funding programmes (Horizon Europe & Horizon 2020), working in Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation activities and tasks; at least 10 years is strongly preferred;
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in science, engineering, marketing or business;
• Excellent project management and presentation skills;
• Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills;
• Problem-solving and efficient decision-making;
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines;

Preferred skills

• Experience with grant writing and proposal preparation;
• Creative thinking, with initiative and interest in research and innovation;
• Capacity and interest to learn;

Conditions

Considering the strategic nature of this role, we seek a full-time dedication. Ideally, we are interested in a freelance arrangement, allowing us to distribute responsibilities between our two legal entities. Regarding compensation, we aim to be competitive and anticipate a wage in the range of 55,000-60,000 € gross per year, depending on experience.
