About Our Client

Our client is a prominent cloud solutions provider in Southeast Asia, offering expertise in cloud advisory, migration services, and digital transformation. The company focuses on helping businesses across sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and retail to scale using cloud platforms. They are known for their strong partnership with AWS and were recognised as the AWS Partner of the Year in Malaysia.

They are currently looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team, to take the responsibility for overseeing and delivering complex IT projects within the cloud industry

Job Description

• Project Planning and Execution:

○ Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and time line creation.

○ Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

○ Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

• Cloud Technology Expertise:

○ Possess a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

○ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to cloud migration, implementation, and management.

• Stakeholder Management:

○ Build and maintain strong relationships with our principals, clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors.

○ Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all relevant parties.

○ Manage expectations and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Advanced certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience in a consulting or services environment. Proven experience in managing complex IT projects, particularly within the cloud industry.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and deployment methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
