Role & responsibilities

a) Plan and directly involve in project as a project-in-charge and responsible for construction and complete the project within stipulated time period.

b) Evaluate various construction methods and determine the most cost-effective plan & schedule.

c) Implement the appropriate construction method and schedule all construction activities in to the logical, specific steps and budgeting the time required to meet established deadlines.

d) Selection and co-ordination of trade contractors hired to complete specific pieces of the project.

e) Determine labour requirement and in some cases, supervise or monitor the hiring and dismissal of workers.

f) Oversee the performance of all trade contractors and area responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule.

g) Directing and monitoring of construction activities, delivery and use of materials.

h) Deliver the quality of all construction work and also monitoring the workers productivity and safety, directing & monitoring compliance with building and safety norms and other rule and regulations.

i) Regularly review structural and architectural drawings & specifications to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and schedules.

j) Tracking & controlling costs against project budget to avoid project cost overturns.

k) Monitoring to prepare daily progress repost, requirement of manpower, materials, machinery and equipment at construction site. Sending the materials requirement of monthly basis and monitoring the same for procurement in time.

l) Monitoring the store to maintain the daily receiving and maintain the stock on daily and monthly basis.

m) Responsible for submitting and certification of the monthly RA Bills within 7th of every month and follow-up for payment.

n) Responsible for checking and sending the all PCs bill within 5th day of every month to HO, checking the reconciliation statement of reinforcement, cement and all materials.

o) Holding regular meeting with seniors, trade contractors, Architect, Project Management Consultants, Clients and others to monitor and co-ordinate all to deliver the project in time with good quality of work.
