Position Summary:  

 

IMPROVLearning is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is managing projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met, and goals are achieved. The ability to cross function in an Employee relations, HR, or Management role is preferred. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, communicates effectively, and can foster collaboration across departments, all while maintaining a supportive and efficient team culture. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, set deadlines, assign tasks, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.  
  • Manage project scope, budget, and resources, ensuring optimal utilization of time and resources.  
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables. 
  • Coordinate with different vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with company objectives. 
  • Identify resource needs, manage project teams, and allocate tasks efficiently to ensure optimal productivity. 
  • Anticipate potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track. 
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, outlining key milestones, challenges, and progress. 
  • Continuously evaluate project workflows and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and outcomes. 
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success, identify lessons learned, and apply improvements to future projects. 

 

Experience Requirements/Skills: 

 

  • 3+ years of project management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time. PMP or other project management certifications are a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or similar) for task tracking, resource allocation, and reporting. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy and thoroughness, ensuring even the smallest details are not overlooked. 
  • Capable of thinking strategically and applying practical solutions to complex problems.  
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in teams and build positive working relationships across departments. 
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and related functions a plus. 

 

Additional skills (preferred but not required) 

 

  • Experience in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates to fill open positions effectively. 
  • Familiarity with onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company culture. 
  • Understanding of maintaining positive employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts. 
  • Awareness of HR policies and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
