Project Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. The work model for the role is: remote This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in North America. You will be mainly accountable for: Managing the development of project planning documents. Monitoring projects to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned. Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers Achieving project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements. Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholder.
Qualifications For The Role
- University engineering degree.
- 10 years professional experience in Project Management.
- 5 years professional experience in Electrical industry.
- PMP certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Fluency in English both orally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (25%).
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
