Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects using Agile methodologies and will be proficient in tools like Azure DevOps, wikis, and managing documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for working with FTE resource to setup project Management best practices for team and also manage delivery for some complex projects. The right candidate will be a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and well-versed in Agile project management, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup Agile and Project management best practices for team.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage and maintain wikis and documentation within the development environment to ensure up-to-date project information is readily available to all stakeholders.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for tracking and managing project tasks, backlogs, and sprints.
- Plan, organize, and manage project deliverables, timelines, and resources to meet business objectives.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, implementing best practices where necessary.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects.
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on use of Azure DevOps for project tracking and task management.
- PMP or Scrum Master certification.
- Strong skills in managing and maintaining wikis and project documentation.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with risk management and project reporting to leadership.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
