We are now looking for high caliber candidate to join the expanding team.
Project Manager (Event Travel Management)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop business opportunities for SMEs and small groups, particularly in the high-end market.
- Provide travel options and advice to meet clients’ needs, including complex itinerary planning, air ticketing, and reservations.
- Plan and execute conferences, meetings, and events from conceptual proposal to onsite execution and wrap-up.
- Build and maintain partnerships with airlines, tourism boards, and overseas suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
- Ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery at all times.
- Conduct onsite inspections and travel overseas to manage events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and according to plan.
- Work independently with land operators and various vendors to coordinate all event logistics.
- Manage and retain clients through excellent customer service skills, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring expenses stay within set limits and financial goals are achieved.
- Handle any issues that arise during travel or events, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Higher Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the travel industry.
- Extensive network, strong product knowledge, and in-depth understanding of tourism destinations.
- Knowledge in complex itinerary planning, including ticketing and air ticket reservations.
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
- Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel overseas frequently.
