Coorparoo, Carindale, Queensland **Description** About the Position Local government agency looking for a Project Manager (Early Works) to assist with capital works projects. Your new company Our client is a local government agency based in Brisbane that provides a number of products and services to assist in the building and maintenance of government owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a Project Manager (Early Works) to their team to assist with their early works projects within the local area. Your new role As the Project Manager (Early Works), you will set up early works projects for success by leading and managing the development, design, and delivery of their capital works projects. This includes working alongside key stakeholders to ensure all program, environmental, safety and budget requirements. You will ensure risk management is constantly monitored, as well as contractual obligations for the project are met. Additionally, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders by provides technical expertise and advice. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of project management in regards to the building and construction of public works projects. Therefore, you will ideally come from a client-side project management background, with a relevant qualification in the or project/construction management field. You will have an understanding of government regulations and guidelines regarding early works projects in , as well as previous experience using an array of Microsoft Programs to complete regular project reporting. A QLD Construction Induction White Card would be desirable. What you’ll get in return You will be offered an immediate start in an initial 12 month contracted role within a local government agency based in Brisbane. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying a Band 8 hourly rate
