Project Manager (Remote)

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Technology team on a full-time, permanent basis, reporting into the Senior Project Manager.

As the Project Manager you are responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of Sysco’s Dynamics 365 ERP transformation project. This involves planning, organizing, and coordinating the transfer of data from legacy ERP systems to D365, minimizing disruptions to business operations. The primary goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient data migration process, preserving data integrity and accuracy.

The Project Manager will work closely with Business analysists and Data Engineering teams to translate requirements into reality. The role would be expected to manage Agile development teams while ensuring that business expectations are met with and ensuring there is enough capacity and capability to deliver the agreed project.

This role is offering a home-based contract that will require travel commitment to our depots and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility is required.

• Successfully implement the change into BAU business operations and Technology Service.
• Implement the solution to meet the stakeholder success criteria.
• Managing resources & project timelines.
• Management & escalation of Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resources.
• Definition & management of an effective Communications Plans.
• Lead, plan and manage the delivery of the requirements provided by the Business solution team & ensure delivery scope is maintained.
• Ensure personal knowledge and exposure to business change opportunities remains up to date, appropriate and relevant.

About you:

As a Project Manager you will have end to end IT Project Management experience in the delivery of complex technical projects in a fast paced/time critical environment. To be successful in this role you will have change management experience, coupled with experience of deploying technologies across multiple sites and projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. You will also have a detailed understanding of business processes, stakeholder management and management of multiple 3rd party system integrators. It’s essential to have strong presentation and communication skills for this role so a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite and Atlassian product suite (Confluence and Jira) is needed. You will also negotiate and build consensus whilst influencing team members and have a knowledge of functional areas of production, warehouse, merchandising and finance.
