Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead technical project delivery for our esteemed federal clients, particularly within the Department of Education. This pivotal role will enable you to steer agile teams in the creation and upkeep of software solutions, including SharePoint and PowerApps, ensuring the successful completion of projects from conception to delivery. As a remote leader, you will engage with stakeholders, manage project timelines, and cultivate a cohesive and high-performing team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional agile teams in effectively planning, executing, and delivering projects.
- Facilitate essential agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
- Manage project timelines and proactively address potential challenges during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports and project plans.
- Advocate for agile principles and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the creation and prioritization of project backlogs to ensure focus on impactful tasks.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting accountability and collaboration.
- Ensure project deliverables adhere to quality standards and meet business requirements.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing agile projects.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to navigate conflicts and maintain project momentum in dynamic environments.
