Project Manager Tech Messaging (Remote)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, development, and delivery of our innovative messaging platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and experience in agile project management methodologies. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery of projects, and work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Management:
• Lead the full lifecycle of messaging platform projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timeline in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Manage risks and issues proactively, ensuring they are addressed and resolved efficiently.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including developers, UI/UX designers, QA testers, and product owners.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
• Manage external partners and vendors, when applicable.
• Agile Methodology:
• Implement agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to drive project delivery.
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Monitor and adjust processes to optimize team performance and meet deadlines.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project status updates.
• Ensure all project stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and any changes to scope or schedule.
• Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to improve the platform continuously.
• Budget & Resource Management:
• Track project budgets and resources to ensure efficient utilization.
• Manage project budgets and report on financial performance to senior management.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that projects meet quality standards and user expectations through regular testing and validation processes.
• Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful deployment of features.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree in project management or business is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably in a tech or SaaS company.
• Technical Skills:
• Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), particularly in messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and messaging protocols (e.g., SMS, VoIP, Push Notifications, etc.).
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
