Project Manager Workday Scheduling Management Implementation (Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Workday Scheduling Management software. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies, a proven track record of successful IT implementations, and a deep understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) processes. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Lead and manage all phases of the Workday Scheduling Management implementation project, including planning, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and document system configurations.
• Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project progress, challenges, and successes.
• Oversee the development and execution of testing plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate training programs for end-users and system administrators.
• Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user questions, and ensuring system stability.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies related to HCM and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment.
• Proven experience with the full lifecycle of IT implementations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of HCM processes, including workforce planning, scheduling, time and attendance, and payroll.
• Experience with Workday or other HCM software is highly preferred.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
