Are you ready to lead impactful projects in a dynamic and meaningful role? Join the Aboriginal Corporation for Drug and Alcohol Network (ACDAN) as our Project Officer and play a pivotal role in driving positive change in the Aboriginal Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector across NSW.

About the Role
As the key contact for ACDAN, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic planning and execution. This remote, full-time role offers the chance to work closely with ACDAN’s Board of Directors to build the organisation’s reputation, manage operations, and achieve the strategic objectives of our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project cycles, from planning to evaluation.
  • Foster partnerships with government, private, and non-profit sectors.
  • Provide strategic advice and high-quality written reports to inform decision-making.
  • Drive organisational success through policy development, compliance, and financial oversight.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated project management expertise and leadership skills.
  • Strong cultural capability and commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in not-for-profit or Aboriginal organisations is highly desirable.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
  • Ability to pass a National Criminal Record Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.

ABORIGINALITY IS DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
