The Role

The Project Support Officer will support Adelaide PHN’s response to the Primary Health Care reform measures and Digital Health projects through the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and project support to the project team, ensuring smooth operations and project delivery.
  • Assist in developing detailed project documents and collateral materials (e.g. project plans, discussion papers and briefs), including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Coordinate tasks and activities with the project team and ensure all project phases are documented.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate them, including appropriate escalation if required.
  • Organise and maintain project documentation (e.g. plans and reports), ensuring all relevant information is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Support the management of contracts and contract deliverables to achieve a contract outcome.
  • Work with the project team to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (face-to-face, email, phone and network meetings, events, presentations), prepare and present updates and resources.

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated ability and skills in project support, including project planning, prioritisation of priorities, meeting timeframes.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships and create harmonious working relationships.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and project management skills with an ability to manage competing timelines and prioritise deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a solution-focused team with an ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to be self-directed, possess problem-solving abilities and demonstrate high-level time management skills.
