What you’ll be doing:
- To lead the development of an agreed panel of existing members through F2F and virtual account management meetings promoting the Simplybiz Protection proposition.
- Achieve set commission targets, annual objectives, and KPIs.
- Ensure members are kept informed of product propositions and forthcoming developments.
- Keep updated on market trends and their potential impact on our competitive position.
- Educate members and present solutions to members to increase sales quality and volume.
- Drive member numbers using digital events and in-person protection roadshows, supporting sales and marketing initiatives as required
- Participate in team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
- Take responsibility for own personal development as a means of improving sales profitability and reputation
- Create content as required for magazines, newsletters, events and external communications
- Maintain up-to-date CRM with meeting notes, objectives and KPIs.
- Monitor distributor profitability, sales and operational efficiency, underwriting characteristics and claims performance, persistency, and other risk measures to ensure the identification and management of distributor performance.
- Work alongside key stakeholders to ensure quality business communication.
- Collaborate with the MI function to develop and maintain distributor insight.
- Implement strategies for engaging with members to increase quality protection business.
- Undertake regular reviews with accounts to identify development opportunities.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of financial protection and insurance propositions within the industry, and meeting sales performance targets
- Ability to engage members and articulate sales through face-to-face, phone, email and digital events
- Manage and develop effective relationships with a panel of intermediary firms
- Empathy and understanding of member needs and the importance of prompt responses.
- Ability to create business plans, schedule meetings and resolve/escalate issues.
- Work collaboratively, sharing best practice and being a team player.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to make effective judgements from a range of information and data.
- IT literacy including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Dynamics 365.
- Organised and methodical with strong analytical skills.
- Proactive, driven and results-orientated with a positive outlook.
