Public Cloud Project Manager Wfh (Remote)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Public Cloud Project Manager to join our dynamic team in a remote working environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about technology, software, and cloud solutions, and possess a strong background in project management within the Linux and open-source realms.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of leading and executing cloud projects while adhering to established timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Work closely with clients to clarify project scopes, objectives, and anticipated outcomes.
• Proactively identify and manage technical and project risks, implementing necessary mitigation strategies.
• Host regular meetings with clients and key stakeholders to provide updates and ensure smooth project progress.
• Assist in contract negotiations and contribute to the development of project statements of work (SoW) and RFI/RFP responses.
• Oversee the delivery timelines of third-party vendors engaged in the project.
• Promote the adoption of suitable technologies within the project portfolio to meet client requirements.
• Foster strong customer relationships, ensuring their satisfaction throughout each project phase.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience in IT Cloud, project management, or software development, particularly within agile methodologies and scrum management.
• Profound knowledge of Linux, open-source technologies, and public cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline or an equivalent field is required.
• Experience in managing intricate, multi-stakeholder projects is essential.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
