We’re seeking a passionate Senior Python Backend Developer to join our fast-growing team and play a pivotal role in building a robust backend and database infrastructure for our AI-powered application.

What You’ll Do

• Design and Develop Backend Systems:
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend APIs using FastAPI.
• Develop efficient data pipelines for interaction with LLMs and AI agents.
• Ensure seamless integration with graph-based reasoning platforms, using tools like Neo4j or other NoSQL/Graph databases.
• Database Architecture:
• Design and implement a database schema to support graph-based workflows, hierarchical data structures, and AI interactions.
• Choose and configure the most suitable database solution, with a focus on Neo4j or other graph/NoSQL databases.
• Optimize database queries for scalability and performance.
• AI and LLM Integration:
• Develop and optimize workflows for querying LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Build robust interfaces for chaining and managing AI agent responses and interactions.
• Collaboration and Scalability:
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless interaction between backend and React-based UI.
• Plan for deployment and scaling of backend services using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Phidata.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Monitoring and Maintenance:
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms for backend stability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience and Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Python backend development.
• Expertise with FastAPI or Django for building scalable APIs.
• Strong understanding of graph databases (Neo4j) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with integrating and working with LLMs and AI/ML libraries or APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Phidata, SQLAlchemy, or equivalent tools for data handling and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other deployment frameworks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and best practices for maintaining scalable systems.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with distributed systems or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of WebSocket or real-time API development.
• Background in building interactive user systems or working with frontend teams.
