Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead initiatives to modernize a Windows COTS platform while dismantling monolithic architecture components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, full-stack systems rooted in distributed computing principles.
• Implement DevOps methodologies, including continuous delivery and comprehensive development practices, to build, test, deploy, and maintain production applications.
• Stay informed on industry trends to promote the adoption of best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps.
• Participate actively in the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring the provision of high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering applications from design to production.
• At least 3 years of experience in deploying scalable, distributed systems using Docker/Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.
• Proficiency in Python with considerable experience in microservices and containerized environments.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Spring Boot, and distributed caching.
• Strong grasp of end-to-end development and a commitment to project ownership (you build it, you own it!).
• Solid background in unit testing, as well as working with Windows COTS products.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies and delivering innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems and deploying scalable solutions in a professional setting.
