Python Java Engineer Id (Remote)

What you will do

• Backend testing with JUnit (Java), or PyTest (Python);
• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java;
• Design and manage database schemas and queries for SQL;
• Build and integrate APIs, ensuring scalability and performance;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git/GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket;
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
• Contribute to the deployment of applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Must haves

• +5 years of hands-on backend development experience;
• Proficiency with Java and Python;
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases;
• Experience with API integration;
• Proficient in using version control systems to track changes, manage branches, and collaborate with team members (Git & GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket);
• Hands-on experience with Presto/Trino queries;
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying applications and managing infrastructure;
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI to automate the software delivery process;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Understanding of web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache) and hosting platforms (e.g., Heroku, Netlify) for deploying applications;
• Experience writing unit tests for back-end using tools like JUnit (Java), or PyTest (Python);
• Experience with testing interactions between different components of the system. End-to-End (E2E).
