Role Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll be an essential part of our automation team, supporting client projects with robust automated test coverage. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to make a tangible impact in the tech industry. You will develop and maintain automated tests, contributing directly to operational success by ensuring flawless performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automated Test Development
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Implement advanced testing architecture to boost efficiency and reusability.
2. Test Triage and Reliability
• Quickly resolve test failures and enhance test stability.
• Optimize cross-browser compatibility and stability.
3. Tool and Infrastructure Optimization
• Refine proprietary automation tools and CI/CD processes using Docker and GitHub Actions.
4. Documentation and Communication
• Create clear documentation to support testing efforts.
• Effectively communicate testing insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have:

• 2-5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on automation in production settings.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Extensive experience with Playwright or similar frameworks (Cypress, Selenium) and solid understanding of page object patterns, test stability, and cross-browser testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and testing stability optimization
• Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic startup environment

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with AI/ML testing frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
