Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to verify the functionality and performance of software applications
• Collaborate with software developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios and automate test cases
• Design, implement, and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Analyze test results and report defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Continuously improve automated testing processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings

Some Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation, with expertise in test automation tools and frameworks
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for test automation
• Experience with automation testing of web applications, APIs, and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Superb communication skills – Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with numerous people
• Management skills; ability to create relationships, motivate and engage project team members
• Energetic leader that can encourage a team
• Maintain a positive attitude through stressful situations
• Willingness to learn
• Loves technology and is passionate about the field

Skills/Technologies That are a MAJOR +

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients; thus, background checks will be required.
