Role Description:

The Qualification Manager will be responsible for the creation and validation of qualification tests while leading a team of Specialists. These tests will be used on a global level. A background in test creation is essential for this role.

The Qualification Manager will be responsible for meeting business demands in terms of the creation, testing and monitoring of tests that will be used across the business. You will be required to design and create new tests based on customer requirements. Types of tests include but are not limited to language tests, cultural awareness tests, skills-based tests, critical-thinking tests.

The role involves collaborating with teams across the business to ensure qualification paths are well-defined and validated. You will be required to create effective means of testing to ensure the validity and effectiveness of each test and weekly monitoring of test performance

Responsibilities:

• Define the qualifications test creation/validation process for new and existing tests
• Manage the testing, design, creation, loading into platforms, monitoring and maintenance of all tests/qualifications
• Plan, Execute and Communicate plans and goals for the team effectively
• Steer the team to success by ensuring that systems are in place for accurately creating, tracking, testing and monitoring tests.
• Ensure the necessary applications, databases, and systems are in place to support the qualification team.
• Train, coach and mentor individuals in the qualification team and drive weekly output from the team in order to meet business objectives.
• Quickly decipher the needs of program teams and offer solutions to their testing requirements.
• Load tests into in-house and external platforms and carry out regular checks to ensure accuracy and validity of the tests.
• Work with Sourcing and Project Teams to ensure that test creation/validation processes are followed and meet rigorous, well-defined standards.
• Ensure that the development of new qualifications, and the review of existing qualifications, draws on appropriate internal and external guidance.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Sourcing and Production teams
• Develop excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure that the requirements are understood and implemented accordingly.
• Act as a change agent, systematically driving continuous improvement and change throughout the qualification area and ensure learning content is effective.
• Effectively work to targets for completion of tests and drive the team to meet set targets

Requirements

• 2-3 years previous experience as a Manager in a multinational environment essential
• Experienced in Test design and creation at a global level is essential
• A background in linguistics or Learning and Development would be an advantage
• Previous experience dealing with developers and testing platforms
• Highly organized and can effectively track workload
• A problem-solver with excellent multi-tasking and decision-making skills
• An ideas person who can provide solutions for the business
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a target driven approach to tasks
• Strong communicator with the ability to communicate ideas clearly at all levels
• Able to prioritize work and manage multiple and varied tasks simultaneously
• Customer-focused- works to high standards and to deadlines
