About the role

This full-time position based in Docklands, VIC presents an exciting opportunity to join Girl Guides Victoria as the Quality and Development Manager. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving recruitment, retention and quality assurance initiatives across the organisation, ensuring that Girl Guides Victoria delivers the highest standards of youth programming and volunteer support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the design, implementation and ongoing review of recruitment, retention and quality  frameworks, monitoring performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide expert advice and support to the broader team to enhance the quality and delivery of youth programs, volunteer management and other key organisational functions
  • Identify opportunities for organisational development and growth, developing and executing plans to expand Girl Guides Victoria’s reach and impact
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including volunteers, program partners and government agencies, to foster a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organisation as a member of the leadership team

What we’re looking for

  • Significant experience in a recruitment and quality assurance or organisational development role, ideally within the community services or youth development sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret data and translate insights into practical solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse groups
  • A passion for empowering young people and a commitment to the mission and values of Girl Guides Victoria
