About the Role / Responsibilities

You will be representing SciFY in service provisioning projects in a multinational environment:

• Participate in the User Requirements collection. Break down business requirements to technical tasks.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers and other developers during implementation phases.
• Business Analysis Support: Work alongside business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria. Validate that user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, concise, and testable. Provide feedback on user story feasibility from a testing perspective.
• Front-end and API testing methodologies to expand or improve the IT tools and create new functionality
• Collaborate with the development team to implement and maintain test fixtures that ensure test environment consistency and reliability. Ensure fixtures accurately emulate production environments to catch potential issues before deployment.
• Regression testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected by new development. Identify potential areas for regression testing and coordinate with the support team & project manager to prioritize and implement these tests.
• Testing Execution and Reporting: Execute test plans during all stages of development, from initial development to final release and maintenance. Log and track defects using the issue tracking system (Jira) and follow through on resolution and retesting.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews, contributing insights from a testing perspective.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in a related/similar positions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Project management skills
• Excellent knowledge of testing frameworks and related best practices
• Ability to write functional analysis documents where needed & users stories
• Strong programming skills. You will be required to implement automated tests specifically designed to verify that existing functionalities are not broken by recent code changes.
• Excellent knowledge of git 
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban) and tools (Jira)
