Position Overview:
Del Medical leaders in medical imaging and contrast media solutions, are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radiographic imaging systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality service and that our products operate efficiently, contributing to optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and Configure: Perform the installation and setup of radiographic imaging equipment contrast media injectors at various healthcare facilities.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to ensure that all equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications.
- Customer Training: Deliver on-site training to healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of our equipment.
- Technical Support: Offer remote and on-site technical support to resolve customer issues and minimize equipment downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts used.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of field service experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Expertise in medical imaging systems and contrast media injectors.
- Experience with radiographic products is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to travel extensively, with some assignments requiring short notice.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Able to travel 100% to locations throughout a designated region
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in medical device repair and maintenance.
- Experience in working in a hospital or clinical environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
- Willingness to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
