Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Android App Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications. You will collaborate closely with our product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver innovative mobile solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in mobile application development using iOS and Android frameworks
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin
• Experience with mobile UI/UX design principles and responsive design
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
• Understanding of mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in mobile development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven working experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kotlin programming language.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Published one or more applications on the Google Play Store.
• Experience with Git version control system.
