Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor with advanced-level expertise and a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional video production. The ideal candidate is a master storyteller with deep technical knowledge of video editing, motion graphics, color grading, and sound design. You’ll collaborate with our creative team to produce exceptional video content that captivates audiences and meets client goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver high-end video content for marketing campaigns, advertisements, branded content, and social media.
• Develop and execute complex visual concepts, incorporating advanced motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
• Perform precise color grading and correction to enhance video quality using tools like DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
• Design and integrate 2D/3D animations and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with the creative team and clients to conceptualize and execute innovative video solutions.
• Manage the full post-production workflow, including editing, sound design, mixing, and final delivery in multiple formats.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new software tools, and emerging video techniques.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges during editing and post-production.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring adherence to platform-specific guidelines (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, OTT platforms).

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a marketing agency, production house, or similar high-pressure environment.
• Technical Mastery:
• Editing Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
• Color Grading: Expert-level knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or similar tools for cinematic-quality grading.
• Motion Graphics and Animation: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D or similar 3D animation software.
• Sound Design: Ability to use tools like Adobe Audition or Pro Tools for advanced audio editing and sound mixing.
• File Management: Expertise in managing large-scale projects, file organization, and working with proxies for high-res footage.
• Creative Vision: Exceptional storytelling skills with a strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, and narrative flow.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce pixel-perfect outputs under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards:
• Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolutions for diverse platforms.
• Familiarity with HDR workflows and multi-camera editing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership Experience: Ability to mentor junior editors and manage a small editing team if needed.
• VR/AR Knowledge: Familiarity with editing immersive content or working on emerging tech like 360-degree videos.
• Scripting and Storyboarding: Experience contributing to the creative process from pre-production to post-production.
