Job Summary

The Recruitment Team Lead will lead and execute the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent across all departments. This role will involve strategizing and developing recruitment plans, implementing best practices in talent acquisition, and building a robust talent pipeline. He/She will work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, define position requirements, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. Success in this role will require excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop, execute, and optimize recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals.
  • Forecast hiring needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment practices to ensure competitive positioning.

Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Development:

  • Build a strong pipeline of candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships.
  • Implement effective sourcing techniques, including passive candidate recruitment.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future vacancies.

Candidate Selection and Interview Process:

  • Oversee candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
  • Implement and manage interview guidelines and assessment techniques for consistency.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define selection criteria, interview processes, and evaluation methods.

Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

  • Promote the company’s brand as an employer of choice through various recruitment channels.
  • Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage communication and follow-up with candidates at all stages.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and guide a team of recruiters to meet hiring goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss priorities, provide feedback, and develop team capabilities.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Monitor recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) and provide reports to senior management.
  • Ensure all recruitment processes comply with employment laws and company policies.
  • Manage recruitment budgets and expenses effectively.

Qualification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a team lead role.
  • Proven track record in hiring across various levels and functions, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, tools, and platforms.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

  • Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform hiring decisions.
