This position will be based in either Singapore or Malaysia.

The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable growth through leading key Business Development initiatives and strengthening core stakeholder relationships both in the region and across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable, sustainable sales growth by growing market share.
  • Develop, present and execute strategic business development plan for key accounts, aligning with regional and global stakeholders; working closely with marketing and product team to ensure product roadmaps are in line with customer and market needs.
  • Lead and drive key growth initiatives with regional sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies.
  • Maintain sales pipeline for each stage of opportunity.
  • Develop & manage productive working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders including corporate, franchisees, and supply chain partners
  • Coordinate pricing for regional accounts, communicating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Improve competitiveness in market by listening to customers and innovating solutions.
  • Manage projects to completion by cultivating and maintaining strong positive relationships with all cross-functional teams.
  • Keep up with market trends through industry research, publications, announcements and participating in sector’s related fairs, conventions & events.
  • Inform business of market trends, new product launches or other risk factors that could impact business sales.
  • Actively take part in distributor and franchise operator events to build network, gain influence and drive market share.
  • Develop value pricing strategies for related accounts.
  • Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
  • Lead and take part in the analysis and development of new products as well as related sales & marketing plans.
  • Act as a mentor to team members on a regular basis to build a strong hunter mentality & develop their product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of working experience in Business Development, Sales and/or Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly efficient & effective in presentation, strategic thinking, and planning
  • Strong business & financial acumen
  • Candidates with experience working in a lean and challenging business environment with would have an added advantage
  • Experienced working in a matrix organization before
  • Passionate and self-driven to work in a fast-paced working environment
