About The Job
The Regional Field Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for driving Liquid Death brand awareness and trial via retail promotions, sampling and event sales in assigned priority and secondary markets. The RMM will work collaboratively with LD sales team and LD distributor partners to implement brand experiences across local events, partnerships, to increase target customer awareness and build deeper connections with the largest/most valuable distributor partners. This is a remote role reporting directly to the Director, Field Marketing on the Experiential Marketing team. This person will be required to have a home base in the Chicago, IL area with the ability to drive within the surrounding region.
Responsibilities
- Understand the unique challenges of priority and secondary markets and adapt national marketing plans to help drive sales at retail and events
- Negotiate, execute and evaluate partnership and sampling & sales opportunities across local events, festivals and venues
- Increase brand awareness and drive trial by securing on-brand, local sampling opportunities
- Become a collaborative partner with regional high volume distributors to maximize distributor investment, alignment and retail execution
- Generate partnership leads across local events, festivals, venues and on-premise
- Responsible for local budget management/expenses and adherence to corporate fiscal guidelines/policies
- Monitor competitors, identify market nuances and reports/shares relevant activity and information
- Ability to work some nights and weekends.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a unique enthusiasm for life represented by a passion for cultural experiences across action sports, street art, music hip-hop/rap, punk/rock, and nightlife. Have the ability to leverage these passions into appropriate activities for Liquid Death
- Mandatory knowledge and experience negotiating sponsorship agreements with ability to measure ROI.
- Strong Local connections to market is preferred
- Ability to anticipate and solve logistical challenges before they occur.
- Exhibit high sense of urgency, be well organized, possess a great attitude, be a team player and have the ability to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to inspire confidence and quickly capture the trust and respect of team/ business partners
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills including presentation and negotiation
- Excellent organization & communication skills, ability to multi-task and work within ambiguity and high pressure situations
- Experience leading and managing brand ambassadors
- Creative mind and prior successes in driving the creative process
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in grassroots marketing and/or sales merchandising, with prior experience in CPG preferred
- Live in Chicago, IL area
- Bachelors Degree
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Lifting product cases and event supplies
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Valid driver’s license with access to a registered vehicle. Vehicle stipend and fuel card will be provided until given company car.
The typical salary range for this position is: $80,000 – $98,000
The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.
