Job Title: Senior Manager – Placements

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Senior Manager – Placements to lead and manage placement activities remotely. The role involves building strong industry connections, driving placement initiatives, and supporting students to achieve successful career outcomes. The ideal candidate will be based in Bangalore, with the flexibility to work from a remote location, while ensuring consistent engagement with stakeholders and meeting organizational placement goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy to meet organizational objectives.

Stay updated on industry trends to align placement initiatives with market demands.

Build and maintain partnerships with top companies across diverse sectors.

Corporate Relations

Establish strong connections with HR leaders, recruiters, and corporate decision-makers.

Organize virtual industry interactions, guest lectures, and workshops to enhance student employability.

Collaborate with corporate partners to understand skill requirements and align student training accordingly.

Placement Operations

Manage the end-to-end placement process remotely, including pre-placement preparation, interview coordination, and offer rollouts.

Track and analyze placement metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Ensure seamless execution of virtual placement drives and related activities.

Student Development

Oversee virtual soft skills training programs, resume-building workshops, and mock interviews.

Provide career counseling to students through online sessions.

Design initiatives to enhance student readiness for remote and hybrid job roles.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of placement coordinators, ensuring alignment with placement goals.

Set performance targets, provide regular feedback, and foster a collaborative virtual work culture.

Qualifications

MBA/PGDM or equivalent in HR, Marketing, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in placements, recruitment, or corporate relations, with remote work experience preferred.

Proven success in achieving placement targets.

Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.

Proficiency in using virtual collaboration and data analysis tools.

Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
