As our new Regional Sales Development Manager, you’ll develop and implement step change growth opportunities in the Americas region.

You’ll be taking strong local market understanding alongside Scott Bader capabilities to generate significant profit contribution to the existing business across the Americas.

You will work closely with regional sales managers, business managers and teams to secure new routes to market, customers and develop new applications. You’ll be providing the knowledge and drive to close deals with key customers, suppliers, influencers and others thus growing our presence across the Americas.

Some of your key responsibilities:

  • You’ll be our go to for new business opportunities across the Americas, providing an entrepreneurial thought leadership to the region.
  • You will work closely and cross-functionally with Sales Managers, Business Managers, R&D and Technical Services teams to assist with the development of the new business cases.
  • You’ll provide clear, accurate and timely forecast information on a monthly basis and for annual budget preparation.
  • You will be developing partnerships and agreements alongside negotiating contracts to enable growth to the business whilst reducing costs.
  • You will directly manage a small number of major targeted and/or complex accounts, ensuring they are won and secured, before they are handed on to regional sales teams to manage on an ongoing basis.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • You’ll be a highly experience business development individual with a real drive for building new business.
  • You are comfortable with a high level of travel not only across the US but also further afield.
  • You hold extensive industry experience in advanced composites & adhesive markets and applications.
  • We’d love for you to hold Diploma or further qualification in Business or a relevant subject matter.
  • Essential that you hold a Science based degree with experience within advanced composites & adhesives.
