Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Regional Sales Manager.
We have been retained to work for the leading companies that design manufacture and sell fire prevention and fire protection equipment. The company manufactures one of the fire protection industry’s broadest portfolios of fire products including firefighting foams, fire apparatus (trucks), pumps, foam systems, monitors, foam hardware, and foam proportioning devices.
The company’s products are used by industrial, manufacturing, and oil and gas companies as well as federal/state/local governments, the US military and aviation sector customers. Our client is global brand and has been specified and used by the world’s top companies for over 100 years. They have a rich history of innovation, new product development, and major solutions capability in the firefighting community. Our client are experts in special hazard risk scenarios and providing state-of-the-art solutions to address these scenarios.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead business development, sales, customer support, and selling efforts into five primary “Market Verticals”. Those are (1) Oil and Gas/Petro-Chemical, (2) Industrial, (3) Marine, (4) Aviation, and (5) Government/Defense. The manager also is charged with developing and managing distribution accounts, contractors, “Engineering Procurement Companies” (EPC’s), and engineering firms. The manager is expected to cultivate, support, and conduct business development efforts to a diverse cross section of customers, with a strong focus on regional distributors, within each of the end-use markets.
The Southeast Territory is made up of the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida.
The business and order-capture environment is focused on “bid-specification” work at the end-user level and then facilitating a combination of distributors, contractor, specifying engineers, or EPC (depending on the strategy) and closing orders.
Salary range: $120,000
