Are you an experienced Regional Sales Manager with experience of remotely managing an external field based sales team?
Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the North Devon and Somerset area.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 730am to 5pm
Location: Hybrid working covering the Region and can use local branches as needed
Duties will include:
Developing strategies to promote the company’s products and services
Hiring, training and motivating sales teams
Preparing sales forecasts, establishing sales goals for the region and communicating these to the marketing and sales teams
Collaborating with Customers to identify their needs and improve results
Establishing best practices and enforcing compliance with industry regulations
Performing market research and collecting customer feedback to improve service delivery
Evaluating performances, coaching, motivating and supporting the External Sales team
Maintaining cordial relationship with suppliers and customers in the region

Required Skills and Experience
A full UK Drivers Licence
Strong external sales management skills and commercial focus
Previous remote sales management experience
Current knowledge of building materials and of the current construction market in this geographical area would be beneficial to the role
Proven experience in customer facing business and a proactive sales and customer focused environment delivering results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
