Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager (m/w/d) to further expand our well-established business in Central and Eastern Europe.
You will be part of the Lumileds EMEA sales organization with a focus on General Illumination accounts although you will also have the possibility to work with customers operating in the automotive industry.
As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll drive Lumileds sales growth and you will serve as the front-line leader in the Lumileds field organization, finding and creating new sales opportunities within target accounts and leading a virtual team of Lumileds people and external partners to win those opportunities.
What You Will Do:
You will drive Lumileds revenue and market share growth in the assigned territories creating and executing a territory business plan including local distribution strategy as well as direct and indirect customer base expansion plan.
Together with the support of Lumileds Technical Sales Managers and Product Managers, you will drive the design and business development activities in DACH and Eastern Europe.
You will drive and support our distribution partners trainings, engagements and initiatives. This will also include joint customer visits and business reviews.
You will execute competitive analysis, provide market insights and accurate customers’ forecast.
As Regional Sales Manager you will frequently and regularly engage with customers in order to drive demand creation, design activities and customer intimacy as well as to manage running business.

Your expertise, knowledge and proactive approach will be an added value to Lumileds and will determine your success. We are therefore looking for:
- 5+ years of Regional Sales Manager experience in the lighting or LED market.
- Professional, proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach with leadership skills
- Strong relationship and customer intimacy skills
- Team player
- Execution skills to achieve goals and targets.
- Strong desire to win and add value to Lumileds organization
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in German and English written and verbal communication
- 60-70% Travel Expected
