About the role: Envision offers a comprehensive total solution for clean energy, which spans generation, storage, and software. We are a leading company in the development of advanced wind turbines and energy storage systems, as well as software solutions that are capable of managing energy assets on a global scale. As the Senior Procurement Manager of Europe, you will be responsible for key strategic procurement activities for new projects on international projects, including wind farms and battery energy storage systems. The Project Procurement Manager must coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the procurement phase in order to plan and deliver accurate and cost-effective solutions, enabling Envision to be competitive, whilst also being in a position to deliver projects successfully across the European Region. Key responsibilities: 1. General Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for purchasing, and ensure timely delivery of purchasing budgets, enabling Envision to be competitive in terms of the subcontract portfolio, whilst also being in a position to deliver the project successfully Coordination and liaison with other internal departments as part of the procurement process, including sales and project management Guarantee the quality and accuracy of the procurement scope Ensure the correct identification, assessment and quantification of all the potential subcontractor related to the procurement scope Facilitates the correct handover to project execution team for the management of the procured scope 2. Sales Support Develop relationships with suppliers with interests in Envision sales markets Facilitate contract or consortium agreement negotiation and scope clarification with suppliers Develop with the support of technical team, standard interface documents for contracts 3. Supplier Development Continuously develop and maintain relationships with suppliers Ensure contracts and terms, with support from Envision’s legal department, are favourable and fit for purpose Conduct supplier reviews on completion of contracts 4. Market Analysis Monitoring and communicating with management regarding the supplier market Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of market changes Supervising a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary Working closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favourable 5. Project Procurement Prepare procurement management plans as required Ensure accuracy of tender documentation and tenders Conduct reviews and prepare analysis for awarding decisions Act as escalation point during project execution in case required Qualification and expertise: Degree in relevant engineering or commerce qualification Minimum 10 years’ experience in procurement and project management Knowledge in project management methods and techniques, commercial management and supply management Experience on procurement of EPC/BOP/Logistics in renewable industry is preferred Excellent IT skills including MS Office/Sharepoint Excellent communication skills in English is essential, both verbally and written
